
I’m Nichole Louchios, PhD, a producer, reporter, and content creator with an academic and professional background spanning the U.S. and the U.K. I hold a PhD in Film & Animal Media Studies from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, an MA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Sheffield, and a BSc in Journalism from the University of Oregon.
My work focuses on the intersection of storytelling, media, and real-world impact, with particular research expertise in how apex predators are represented in media.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across a wide range of formats and platforms, including television news, digital media, web content, radio, and documentary-style production. My experience includes on-scene reporting, interviewing local officials and subject matter experts, producing and editing video for live broadcasts, and creating engaging multimedia content tailored for both broadcast and online audiences.


My objective is to create thoughtful, compelling media that informs, engages, and resonates with viewers. Whether producing educational content, reporting on current events, or developing digital media campaigns, I bring a detail-oriented, research-driven approach paired with strong visual storytelling.
